Armed with a small array of analog synths and a drum machine, and inspired by the likes of Kraftwerk, Chemical Brothers, Caribou and video game music, Yusef Quotah creates electronic-dance music you can move furniture to.

A veteran of the Cincinnati music scene for more than a decade, Yusef Quotah Co-founded the indie-electronic-dance duo You, You’re Awesome. He has also toured and recorded with a variety of Cincinnati staples like Brian Olive and Electric Citizen. Beginning in 2016, he began recording solo as ‘Quotah’, taking inspiration from bands like Stereolab, Breeders and Gary Numan.

At the end of 2024, Yusef Quotah made a return to the style of synth-space-pop that he began his Cincinnati musical journey with, and is currently working on a full length LP of dance music that will make you feel fuzzy.
